News showed the remains of a helicopter down. Very compact wreckage with no signs of any rotor blades that I could see. So very sad. RIP

I just heard that a Luscombe suffered an inflight fire at the Cresswell airport in OR this AM. They crashed short of the runway. RIP so sad.

A news article mentioned that an SR-22 was down in northern AZ. Pilot OK. Picture showed it upside down with landing gear mangled and chute deployed. It looks pretty well totaled. How did it wind up upside down with mangled gear if it came down under the chute?
