I do think those jump planes are ugly. Not quite as ugly in flight as on the ramp at Coolidge (P08).

I used to work for Shorts Brothers back in Belfast and walked the production
lines , always thought the design was practical for the mission

Practical yes. But ugly.

Apparently ugly to work on also per a student who is a mechanic maintaining them.
