I currently fly under BasicMed. I had a SCAD heart attack last week with a full recovery expected. I'm interested in getting input from people who have gone through the special issuance process: How long it took, how complicated it was, etc. I'm trying to answer the "Is it worth it?" question (I'm only 60 and should have many flying years left).Thanks for any advice offered.
