There is an old gravel strip called Turnbox which is west of the Estrella Sailport at 33.00.870N, 112.24.193W. It was apparently put up by people from the Turf Soaring group years ago. It was intended as possible spot for out-landings between Gila Bend and Estrella Sailport.
I was out flying that way and obtained a photo of what remains from the air. This is also visible on Google Earth. Does not look landable any more. It is just visible on this side of the main wash, slightly left of center and the wash that runs up and down through the picture.
